 2012 Arctic Winter Games Theme Song Relay All 9 participating regions will record their own unique sights and sounds. These recording will be edited abd blended with the baseline theme song track to create the ultimate music video theme song that will set the one for the 2012 Arctic Winter Games. The submissions from all 9 regions will become one great audio-visual presentation that will represent all the regions at the Opening Ceremonies and throughout the Games. The goal of this relay is to connect the circumpolar North, particularly its youth, through song, sound and images. It will raise awareness of the Games and its international heritage as well as the rich cultural diversity of the Arctic regions of the world. It is through the 2012 Arctic Winter Games Theme Song Relay that the message of circumpolar friendship will be shared with the world! Using the recorded material from the 9 participating regions Root Sellers (young dynamic Yukon musicians) will edit and blend it all together to create the ultimate music video theme song. The base layer of the theme song has been recorded and this is what has been circulated around the world's North. Listen to the song WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU! Sport North needs to tell a story about Team NWT and the Northwest Territories. We need your imagination, videos, sound clips and pictures of the Northwest Territories.
