Northwest Territories Games

The NWT Games provides a developmental multi-sport games opportunity for NWT athletes between the ages of 10 & 14 years. This will enable them to experience and enjoy involvement in sport to the extent of their abilities and interests and, for increasing numbers, to choose to participate in sport at higher levels.   Three pilot games were held from 2005 to 2007.  The next NWT Games date and location have not been determined.
  • NWT Winter Games (Fort Smith) - March 18 - 21, 2005
  • NWT Summer Games (Inuvik) - July 8 - 10, 2005
  • NWT Winter Games (FortSimpson) - February 15 - 18, 2007
