Canada Games
The 2011 Canada Winter Games are scheduled to take place in Halifax, Nova Scotia from February 11-27, 2011. The two-week Canada Games has some sport events taking place in Week 1, and others in Week 2. There are approximately 4,400 athletes, coaches and managers coming to Nova Scotia over two weeks in 2010, about 2,200 each week.
The NWT will be sending athletes to compete in badminton, biathlon, cross country skiing, curling, figure skating, gymnastics, hockey, judo, snowboarding, speed skating and squash.
