Western Canada Summer Games
The next Western Canada Summer Games are scheduled to take place in Kamloops, BC from August 5-14, 2011. The Games are broken into two phases and the Northwest Territories will have participants in the following sports;

- volleyball

An estimated 2,300 athletes, coaches, managers and officials in 18 different sports will attend and approximately 3,000 volunteers will be needed to run the event. During this 9-day event, four provinces and three territories will focus on the event in Kamloops.
