Call for 2025 CSG Team NT Mission Staff

Please see the below application information outlining the Mission Staff and Medical Liasion responsibilities for the 2025 Canada Summer Games in St. Johns, Newfoundland. Week 1 of the Games is August 8 - 16, week 2 of the Games is Aug 17 - 25.

Team NT Mission Staff play a key role in ensuring that all aspects of Team NT’s operational plans are in place prior to and during the Games.

What we are looking for in potential candidates:
• Volunteer with a Territorial Sport/Recreation Association or related organization, or varied experiences as a volunteer, particularly in sport related organizations.
• Knowledge of the NWT amateur sport system.
• Enthusiasm and interest for Games and working in a multi-sport environment.
• Willingness and ability to commit the time Pre-Games, Post-Games and during Games.
• Ability to operate independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to provide excellent service to assigned sports/duties and Team NT.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• High energy, positive attitude and multi-task oriented.
• Possession of a valid unrestricted driver’s license.

Individuals interested in applying for Team NT Mission Staff are required to:
1. Review the Mission Staff Responsibilities and submit a completed application form.
2. Submit a recent Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector Check by March 8, 2025. CRC/VSC must have been completed within 6 months of Games (February 8, 2025, or later).
3. Upload 2 reference letters. (They cannot be from the same organization).
4. Submit a copy of your driver's license by the 1st Mission Staff meeting.
5. Upload proof of approved leave from employer.
