The NWT Soccer Association calls for individuals to serve on its 2016 Arctic Winter Games Committee.

The Committee will oversee the preparation of futsal teams for the Arctic Winter Games, to be held in Nuuk, Greenland March 6-12, 2016.

Roles include:

• Overseeing development of teams representing the NWT;
• Organization of Territorial Trials for the Arctic Winter Games futsal teams, and;
• Ensuring all Communities in the NWT are engaged and represented.

This is your chance to play an active role in developing five exciting, young teams to take part in one of the biggest multi-sport events on the calendar. 

Committee members can expect to attend regularly scheduled meetings in the months leading up to the Games.

Candidates are invited to submit their names and a brief resume, outlining relevant skills and experience, to lsandhals@sportnorth.com by 6pm on Wednesday, December 10.

Applications will be considered by the NWT Soccer Association board at its regular meeting on December 11, 2014, with the intention of forming this Committee in January 2015.
