The Sport North Federation is pleased to announce the addition of a new Territorial Sport Organization, Table Tennis North.
With Table Tennis North joining the Federation, there are now 30 Territorial Sport Organizations under the umbrella of the Sport North Federation. “We are very happy to have Table Tennis North become part of the Sport North Family. I am very confident that we will have Table Tennis featured in many of our smaller NWT Communities in the years to come. Which obviously bodes well in seeing more of their residents participate in the Multi-Sport games in which Team NWT currently competes” commented Sport North’s Executive Director, Doug Rentmeister.
After an exciting Table Tennis Training Camp in Fort Providence this past weekend, November 15th, the sport organization is ready to take on the North and introduce Table Tennis to all communities. Table Tennis North President, Jim Snider stated that the organization is “very excited about becoming a member of Sport North and look forward to building relationships with communities and bringing people from across the territory together to play table tennis”
Table Tennis North’s mission is to support, promote and develop an active, healthy and fun environment with the sport of Table Tennis in the Northwest Territories.
