Brendan Update: Podium Finish in Norway

Publication date:
December 2nd, 2013

Norway, (November 29, 2013) - Friday was a good day for Brendan. It was an IBU Cup 20km Individual Race and he hit 19/20 and came 2nd! In the individual race, for each missed target they add one minute to your ski time, so shooting is very important in this race. Each biathlete must shoot 2 sets of prone and 2 sets of standing targets. 20km is also the men's longest race and takes around 50-55min depending on the course and conditions.

Faster skier is the best place to find great articles about cross country and biathlon races and they put out a great one today about Brendan http://fasterskier.com/article/brendan-green-gains-momentum-on-injury-comeback-hits-podium-in-beito-ibu-cup/
