Sport North is pleased to announce that a corporate partnership has been reached with Kavanaugh Waste Removal Services.
“Kavanaugh is proud to celebrate our 50th anniversary and would like to say thank you to Yellowknife for the continued support. To commemorate our 50th we have pledged a $7500.00 donation to KidSport NWT” said General Manager Peter Houweling. “We feel the donation is an excellent opportunity to leave a positive impression and a way to say thank you to Yellowknife for the past 50 years.”
“We’re very grateful that Kavanaugh has chosen the KidSport program in which to make an impactful community contribution” said KidSport NWT Coordinator Scott Letkeman. “You need generous corporate contributors for a program like KidSport to thrive and we are thrilled that Kavanaugh has made a clear commitment toward ensuring that all kids can play in the north.”
The donation announcement was made at the 65th annual Peterson and Auger charity golf tournament on July 7th at the Yellowknife Golf Club. (Pictured Below)
