Donny Boake and Nicolas Bennett, both second year midget males skied very strongly.  In the classic 5 km race they finished third and fourth respectively and in the free technique (skate) race second and third place finishes.  Boake shone in the sprint race, finishing second.

Other results included Niva Stephenson, a second year midget, who finished second in the classic race, third in the sprints and second in the free technique race.  Emma Seddon, a first year midget, had a strong sprint, finishing first in the B final.  Kandis Villebrun was the fastest juvenile girl.  Her best placing was sixth in the sprint races for second year juveniles.  Linnea Stephenson placed seventh in the sprint amongst the first year juvenile girls.  Laura Hodgins and Cameron Seddon also competed strongly and the entire team represented the NWT well.  These skiers are ready to represent Team NWT at the Arctic Winter Games in Alaska.
