December 15, 2014 (Yellowknife, NT) - NWTASSA is pleased to announce the appointment of our new Sport Director, Kelsie Pagacz. Kelsie comes to us with a strong background in physical and health education and an interest in personal training. Her previous experience as a sports reporter will also assist in her duties. As sport director, Kelsie will assist the Board with organizing programs, grants, skater development camps and competitions. We welcome Kelsie to NWTASSA and look forward to her energy and sense of enthusiasm for the value of sport among youth.

Kelsie will be replacing outgoing Sport Director, Jill Gilday, who now has full time employment with Northern Youth Leadership Society. NWTASSA would like to thank Jill for her contributions to speed skating over the past year, noting particularly her highly successful Skate to Sochi initiative and the strong leadership and knowledge she brought to programs for community clubs and our annual summer camp.

Based in Yellowknife, Kelsie will begin her new position immediately.
