April 1, 2014 (Yellowknife, NT) – The Sport North Federation reminds you about the call for nominations for the Sport North Sport Awards.
The Sport North Federation encourages all members to look to their athletes, coaches, leaders and others for those who could qualify as recipients of these prestigious awards in one of the following categories: athlete of the year, coach of the year, team of the year, official of the year, contributor to sport, community contributor and/or corporate contributor to sport.
The nomination process has two submission dates. The first deadline (Part A) asks for basic information about the individual being nominated. The second deadline (Part B) requests detailed information about their sporting accomplishments. Part A & B of all nominations must be received by the Sport North Awards Selection Committee by midnight, Tuesday, April 15, 2014.
The awards play a valuable role in supporting athletic success and recognizing Northwest Territories’ growing talent, as well as the people who make it all happen for our athletes. Award recipients will be invited to attend the Sport North Awards Banquet on May 24th, 2014 in Yellowknife, NT.
