“We had an amazing group of Athletes, Coaches, Chaperone’s and Parents out in Fort Providence for the AWG Table Tennis Trials. Everyone was focused, everyone was excited and they all created a very good environment for the Trials. When you are in the tournament (a deciding element for making the team to go to the AWG) and the kids that are playing each other actually cheering for each other, that is absolutely amazing. Something that makes this so very exciting, showing the team spirit, the support of each other. Amazing!!! I am looking forward to working with our Team and the Alternates in the next 6 weeks at training camps in Hay River, Fort Providence and Yellowknife." Stated Thorsten Gohl, Table Tennis North Head Coach.
Thank you to all those who attended Table Tennis Territorial Trials and we wish those that are representing Team NWT the best of luck at the 2016 AWGs in Nuuk, Greenland in March.
