By learning to rethink what most people have come to understand as “safe” spaces for 2SLGBTQ+ people, we can begin to grasp the complexities of 2SLGBTQ+ identity and how this diverse community walks through our society. You’ll learn about the nine (yes, nine!) different parts of gender and sexual identity, and be introduced to the vast vocabulary that exists to help 2SLGBTQ+ people define themselves in the world. This introduction will help build a strong foundation for us to move from allies to accomplices against homophobia, transphobia and anti-2SLGBTQ+ attitudes.
