Sport North has secured a partnership with Nova Hotels to provide discounted hotel rates for our Territorial Sport Organizations. This collaboration is intended to offer affordable accommodation options for athletes, coaches,
and staff during their stay in the city for training camps, competitions, and other events.

Air Travel

To book travel, please book online at www.canadiannorth.com and enter your corporate promo code in the ‘Promo Code’ field.

Air North, Yukon’s Airline offers discounted fares and exclusive perks to Sport North member organizations for NWT athletes, coaches, and supporters travelling to training and competition outside the territory.

What is included with the NWT Sport Fare?

  • Set fares regardless of price changes

  • Complimentary excess baggage (up to 4 bags)

  • Complimentary seat selection

  • Complimentary changes & cancellations (up to 7 days before departure)

  • Complimentary name changes (up to 24 hours before departure)

What is the booking process?

  • One representative of the travelling group is to complete the below travel request form and all travel information for each passenger (Legal first & last name, date of birth, gender). Travel will only be approved for the passengers whose information is inputted on the form.

  • The request will be reviewed by Sport North staff. If approved, Sport North will provide details to Air North and contact the group representative to confirm

Are you paying individually or as a group?

As a Group?

  • After receiving approval from Sport North,  the member who is paying will contact Air North’s Groups Team at 1.800.661.0407 ext. 198 or (867) 668.2228 ext. 198 to pay for all of the travellers. The member will need to confirm the event/competition name and that the travellers are all identified on the list provided to Air North by Sport North.

As an Individual? (each passenger pays for their own ticket)

  • Once confirmed, the member is now ready to inform all of the travellers that they may contact Air North reservations at 1.800.661.0407 or (867) 668.2228 to complete their booking. The travellers will need to identify the event/ competition name and be present on the list provided by Sport Yukon
