We at Sport North are sad to announce that the Arctic Winter Games 2020 was canceled this weekend (March 7th 2020) due to the Corona Virus. 

To all Team Northwest Territories participants and supporters

Thank you for your support and understanding of the difficult decision that was made related to the cancellation of the 2020 Arctic Winter Games.  While we are all disappointed, the health and well-being of the thousands of people who would have been participants, volunteers or spectators at the Games was far too important.

Team NT officials are still working on all of the details related to the cancellation of the Games.  I am pleased, however, to advise you that all participants will be allowed to keep their uniforms and that $350 participant fee will be refunded.

Over the coming days we will continue to work diligently to complete all the necessary tasks related to the cancellation of the Games. Please watch our social media channels for any further updates.
