North American Aboriginal Indigenous Games 2014 - Call for Coaches

The NWT Volleyball Association and the Aboriginal Sports Circle are teaming up to identify Head Coaches and Managers for the 2014 Aboriginal Indigenous Games being held in Regina in July 20-27, 2014. Details for the NAIG program can be viewed on the Aboriginal Sports Circle Website.

All qualified coaches interested in this opportunity must apply by submitting their resume to the NWT Volleyball Association. The Head Coaches must be Level 1. Both the Head Coach and Managers must have a valid Criminal Record Check. 

Prospective coaches must be available during the Player Selection weekend, tentatively scheduled for June 2014, and should indicate which team(s) (U16 Male or U16 Female) they are interested in coaching. Where two candidates are deemed equivalent in their qualifications, preference will be given to candidates the same gender as the team and individuals of Aboriginal descent. The deadline to apply is Friday December 13, 2013.
