Press Release – New Sport Director

NWTASSA is pleased to announce the appointment of our new Sport Director, Julie Jeffery.

A long time resident of Yellowknife, Julie has years of experience working with sport organizations including NWT Badminton. Her backround in implementing successful sports programs will be a wonderful addition to our organization.

Julie will assist the Board with organizing programs, grants, skater development camps and competitions. We welcome Julie to NWTASSA and look forward to her expertise in organizing and running successful sport programs in the North.

Julie will be replacing outgoing Sport Director, Kelsie, who is relocating to Canmore.

NWTASSA would like to thank Kelsie for her contributions to speed skating over the past year and wish her the best of luck on her new endeavours.

Based in Yellowknife, Julie will begin her new position immediately.
