Sport North closing their physical office.

Publication date:
March 18th, 2020

Our top priority is the health and well-being of our members, families, staff and community. In this unprecedented time, we are deeply committed to keeping everyone safe.

In light of the evolving pandemic and out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to close our offices for the next two weeks commencing, Thursday, March 19/20. We believe that this closure will allow us to more effectively evaluate this dynamic situation and assist in following the GNWT Chief Public Health Officer’s guidance on social separation.

If you have an appointment scheduled with us this week, our office will be in touch to help reschedule your appointment or address it through other means. Our staff will be working from home and you can get a hold of them either through email or their cell phones which are listed on our website. www.sportnorth.com In addition, we will be posting updates relevant to the sport sector as they come up and through our research.

We did not make this decision lightly. A great deal of care, research and planning guided our decision. We will continue to evaluate the situation as it evolves and determine on a weekly basis when it is appropriate for us to return to our normal business hours.

Again, please understand that we are making this decision with the health and well-being of our members, our families, our team and our community in mind.

We wish all of you continued health and strength during this challenging time.

On behalf of Les Skinner - President and the board.

Sincerely

Doug Rentmeister
