September 13th, 2016 Yellowknife, NT (September 13, 2016) – The Sport North Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to NWT students who have demonstrated academic excellence, dedication to sport and volunteer commitment. Scholarships valued at $1,500 are available to applicants in sport related studies and $1,000 scholarships are available to applicants in other areas of study.
A total of 11 scholarships were distributed this year totalling $14,000
