Yellowknife, NT (September 27, 2013) – Basketball Northwest Territories, in partnership with the Aboriginal Sport Circle of the NWT is in the process of planning for the upcoming 2014 North American Indigenous Games in Regina, Saskatchewan.

As part of this process we are gauging interest for our male and female basketball teams. We have funding secured to send ONE boys’ team – either an under 19 team OR an under 16 team, as well as ONE Girls teams (U14), with the possibility of one additional team. Therefore, we are sending out application forms to attempt to find out numbers of eligible players and the levels of experience of those players.
